About Lori – Founder of Dominion Dog Walking
My journey into dog walking and pet care began during the pandemic, when I fostered 37 dogs of all ages, personalities, sizes, and with a variety of needs—including medication and special routines. Each one taught me something new, and I fell in love with caring for them and providing personalized, loving attention. That experience inspired me to turn my passion into a career devoted to giving every dog the unique care and attention they deserve.
I currently share my life with my own dog, Drama—who was one of my foster fails! (If you watch my video, I share a little more about his story.) I believe that every dog is special and that their care should be tailored to their individual needs, whether it's during walks, in-home visits, or boarding.
I’m passionate about creating joyful, enriching experiences for dogs. I believe in having fun—exploring dog parks, walking along the river, and discovering the many wonderful areas of Old Town. My goal is to make every journey an adventure filled with love, exercise, and happiness, just as I would for my own pup.
